CONTINENTAL GRAND PRIX 5000 700c TubeType Souple -rengas on erittäin arvostetun Grand Prix 4000S II:n seuraaja. Saksalainen brändi on suunnitellut tuotteen, joka soveltuu yhtä hyvin harjoitteluun kuin kilpailuunkin sekä kuiville että märille teille.

Kolmesta kerroksesta koostuva Grand Prix 5000 on suunniteltu yhdistämään suorituskyky, pito ja kestävyys unohtamatta mukavuutta. Poikkeuksellisen tiepidon saavuttamiseksi rengas on valmistettu Lazer Grip -teknologialla. Nämä pienet rakenteet renkaan sivuilla tarjoavat maksimaalisen pidon jopa kaarroksissa märällä tiellä. Optimaalisen suorituskyvyn saavuttamiseksi Continental on uudistanut Black Chill -teknologiaansa. 

Mukavuuden ja kestävyyden osalta GP 5000 käyttää Active Comfort -järjestelmää värinöiden vaimentamiseen sekä Vectran Breaker -suojausta, joka on valmistettu synteettisistä kuiduista ja tekee renkaasta erittäin puhkeamiskestävän hallitulla painolla.
