What you’ll find in this range

These are the parts that hold your light in place and keep it working: replacement mounts, straps, charging cables and batteries. Inexpensive parts that can bring a light you thought was fit for the bin back into use.

The mounts, which are specific to each brand

A light mount is almost never universal : it follows the shape of the light body. Sigma, Lezyne, Knog, BBB and Exposure each have their own, often with different versions for different model families. Check your light’s exact model number before ordering — it is engraved underneath the housing or listed in the manual.

Where to mount your light

• Handlebars : slip-on silicone for simplicity, or a screw-on clamp for a secure hold at high speeds.
• Helmet : essential for night mountain biking. The light follows your gaze through corners, while a handlebar light shines straight ahead. Ideally, you want both.
• Seatpost : for the rear. Watch out for aero seatposts, which have a non-round profile and need a dedicated mount.
• Seatstay or saddle rail : the solution when a bag occupies the seatpost — a very common situation when bikepacking.
• GoPro interface : lets you hang the light beneath a bike computer mount, the neatest setup at the front.

The Garmin Varia case

The rear Varia radar takes up space on the seatpost, and its original mount does not suit every setup. This range includes quarter-turn mounts, screw-on mounts, saddle-rail mounts and bag mounts, as well as replacement elastic bands, which are the system’s wear parts. If you have an aero seatpost or a saddle bag is already in place, you will find a solution here.

Batteries, cables and straps

The silicone straps stretch and tear; you can replace them individually. The charging cables proprietary ones get lost. And some high-end lights accept an external battery that doubles or triples battery life — the solution for long night rides without changing your light.
