Description
The MICROSHIFT ADVENT X CS-H104 10-speed cassette is the all-steel version of the ADVENT X range’s 11–48-tooth gearing. It has the same sprocket progression as the lighter CS-G104, but a spiderless, all-steel construction: a cassette built for high mileage, winter riding and mountain bikes that take a beating.
With 48 teeth on the largest sprocket and just 11 on the smallest, it covers the full range needed for a single-chainring setup: climbing steep, technical slopes and accelerating on faster connecting sections. The two-layer black ED finish provides lasting corrosion protection.
How does it differ from the CS-G104? The gearing is identical. The G-Series has an aluminium spider and two large aluminium sprockets, weighing 424 g versus 662 g for this model. The H-Series is heavier but more durable, and considerably more affordable.
Do you need a specific wheel? No: it fits a standard Shimano HG freehub body, with no need for an XD or Micro Spline hub.
