"Very good item, which unless I'm mistaken no other brand offers. Avoid carbon or composite soles."
"Prevents premature wear of carbon shoes good product I recommend"
"Allows easy declamping and no damage to shoe bottoms. disadvantages: yet another purchase of accessories should be included with the wedges in my opinion"
"Protects the carbon sole against the pedals".
"I have them on every new pair of mountain bike shoes. They're practical, effective at limiting sole wear and reliable over time."
"I use them with Mavic shoes and Time wedges. The result is totally satisfying, they allow more precise shoeing/unshoeing and, above all, they extend the life of the soles and therefore the shoes. Well worth the investment! Remember to change them at the same time as the wedges."
"After several outings these sub-chocks are great, they completely cover the rails of the chocks and prevent dirt from making it in while raising them just right."
"I bought the wedges and the protective plate. This is the first time I've bought the Premium ones as the old ones are no longer on the market. The new cleats are slightly higher than the old ones which creates play and noise when pulling on the pedals. I didn't send them back because I had already fitted them. Delivery Probikeshop nickel".
"These protective cleats were purchased to protect the crumbling carbon-fiber outsole of my shoes. They fit perfectly with the Shimano PD-M540 pedals I own. Thanks to the whole Probikeshop team for their seriousness and sound advice!"
"I bought this item because I was having trouble engaging the Cr. Brother Double shot pedals. Indeed, despite the thinness of the sub-plates, it's easier, and on this occasion I removed the plastic ones originally delivered with the pedals. A question for Crank Brothers though: why don't they deliver these sub-shells with the pedals? It's a shame to have to make a double purchase to be satisfied with a product that in this case isn't necessarily cheap."
