Description
The Forward Joyride chainring is the brand's accessible performance option for BMX Race. Machined from aluminium and flat-cut to ensure high precision, it features a design that increases stiffness and limits lateral flex — the main flaw of overly flexible chainrings, which leads to power loss right when you need it most.
This is the 5-bolt, 110 mm BCD version: the classic BMX Race standard found on many spiders, including older generations. With a 5 mm thickness, it sits above the category average, directly enhancing its resistance to torque loads off the start gate.
This anodised blue version is available from 36 to 42 teeth, the most popular range in Race. Note: the Joyride 5-bolt is the most affordable in the Forward range, making it an excellent spare chainring or one for a second bike. Non-threaded drilling: make sure to use a suitable set of chainring bolts and nuts.
