Description
The Giro DND Gel combines all the ergonomics and durability of the classic DND model, adding strategically placed 3mm gel inserts on the palm. This version is designed for riders looking for maximum shock absorption, vibration damping and reduced palm fatigue on long rides or rough terrain.
Its AX Suede™ synthetic leather palm with Super Fit™ engineering contours to the shape of the hand without bunching. The 4-way stretch breathable mesh upper efficiently wicks heat away, while the Slip-on cuff design allows for quick, easy pull-on without Velcro straps.
What is the difference between the classic Giro DND and the DND Gel? The classic DND has no palm padding (direct "second skin" contact with the handlebars), whereas the DND Gel features 3mm gel pads to dampen vibrations and provide extra comfort.
Is this glove suitable for BMX or Slopestyle? It is perfectly usable, but BMX and Slopestyle riders often prefer the standard, non-gel version to maintain direct and precise feel on the grips. The DND Gel is more recommended for long MTB / Gravel rides.
