Description
The MICROSHIFT SWORD BLACK 2x9-Speed Crankset is the double-chainring crankset in the accessible SWORD BLACK gravel range. Its 46/29 or 48/31-tooth chainrings offer a very wide gear range, whether you’re accelerating on the flat or tackling a steep climb with a loaded bike.
Like the rest of the BLACK range, it uses a JIS square-taper spindle, the simplest and most economical bottom bracket standard to maintain. Its wide 47 mm chainline is designed for gravel, providing clearance for high-volume tyres. The large chainring is aluminium and the small one is steel for durability.
Which front derailleur should I pair it with? The SWORD BLACK FD-G7920 front derailleur, also designed for a 47 mm chainline.
Can it be converted to a single chainring? Yes: simply fit a chain keeper in the outer position.
