The MICROSHIFT SWORD SB-G7000-LD Left Dropper Post Control Lever is a rarity: a drop-bar lever combining a brake lever and dropper post control in one unit. There’s no need to bolt an extra remote beneath the handlebar.
It’s a solution for demanding gravel rides or technical bikepacking: lower the saddle with one movement, without taking your hands off the hoods, before a rough descent. Dropper post cable tension is adjustable, and the ergonomics match the SWORD range: a high-pivot brake lever, textured non-slip surfaces and adjustable lever reach.
Check this compatibility point before ordering: this control works with dropper posts where the cable head sits at the remote (“Cable Head at Remote”). Posts where the cable head attaches inside the post itself are not compatible.
What about shifting? This is the left-hand lever: it operates the brake and dropper post only. Shifting is controlled by the right-hand lever.
