Description
The PARK TOOL BBT-169 Bottom Bracket Tool is a professional tool designed to remove and install 16-spline threaded bottom brackets, as well as Center Lock brake disc lockrings and certain e-bike motor lockrings.
Precision-machined from 4140 steel, its extra-deep body accommodates the widest spindles, with thin walls at the engagement point for recessed lockrings. It is compatible with a wide range of threaded bottom brackets: Shimano BB80, BB5700, XT BB70, BB51, as well as Campagnolo, Chris King, FSA MegaExo, Hope, SRAM/Truvativ GXP, Race Face X-type, Surly and many others.
Three drive options — a 3/8" square drive, 1-inch hex drive and 36 mm wrench flats — help tackle even the most stubborn bottom brackets. Integrated threading also allows use of the BBT-RS retaining system or GPS-1 guide pins (sold separately) for greater stability during use.
Not intended for use with an impact driver.
