Description

The PARK TOOL BBT-179 Bottom Bracket Tool is a professional tool designed to remove and install 12-spline threaded bottom brackets, including SRAM BSA DUB, Race Face Cinch and Rotor BSA30.

Precision-machined from 4140 steel, its extra-deep body accommodates wide spindles, with thin walls at the engagement point for recessed lockrings. It is compatible with numerous brands, including Zipp Vuma and Hawk Racing, as well as many other 12-spline standards.

Three drive options — a 3/8" square drive, 1-inch hex drive and 36 mm wrench flats — let you work on even the most stubborn bottom brackets. Integrated threading allows use of the BBT-RS retaining system or GPS guide pins (sold separately) for greater stability.

Not intended for use with an impact driver.
