PARK TOOL BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System

Bottom brackets are among the bicycle components requiring the highest tightening torques. Yet some bottom bracket cups offer only a few millimetres of engagement with the tool, making removal or installation tricky. The PARK TOOL BBT-RS Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System provides the solution.

Compatible with almost all Park Tool bottom bracket tools, the BBT-RS uses a spring-tensioned system to apply constant, adjustable pressure to the tool, ensuring full engagement with the cup and preventing slippage.

It can be configured for the vast majority of threaded and thread-together bottom bracket standards. Its M8 threaded rod and double-sided adapter nut (M12 and M15 threads) allow it to screw directly into most compatible cartridge bottom brackets. The M15 adapter also accommodates almost all Park Tool aluminium bottom bracket tools, each of which has a compatible built-in thread.

Compatible with BBT-27.3, BBT-35-12, BBT-35-36, BBT-47-12, BBT-47-16, BBT-49.3, BBT-59.3, BBT-69.3 and BBT-79.3 tools, as well as handled tools (BBT-9, BBT-29, HCW-4) and tools with external wrench flats (BBT-19.2, BBT-22).
