Description

The PARK TOOL BFS-1 Bottom Bracket Facing Set (BSA) is a complete set for facing threaded bottom bracket shells, producing clean, flat and perfectly parallel faces ready for drivetrain installation.

The included threaded bushings align the tool precisely, ensuring the shell faces are perfectly parallel. The integrated spring-tension system maintains constant pressure between the 45 mm facing cutter and the shell, preventing chatter or uneven cutting.

The BFS-1 is particularly useful for cleaning up a new or freshly painted frame, or for reducing shell width to accommodate different drivetrain components.

The set includes: a 1.370" x 24 TPI right-hand bushing (English standard, ref. 681), a 1.370" x 24 TPI left-hand bushing (ref. 682) and a 45 mm facing cutter (ref. 690).

Also available separately: 36 mm x 24 TPI Italian bushings (2 required) and an oversized 57 mm cutter.

⚠️ Always use cutting fluid, such as Park Tool CF-2, when machining.
