Description

The slope simulator WAHOO Kickr Climb is an astonishingly useful accessory that brings you closer to the real thing when training on a home trainer.

This box, which supports the fork axle, simulates the inclination of a slope (from -10% to +20%) by sliding the axle up or down! It is exclusively compatible with WAHOO Kickr and Kickr Snap home trainers, 2017 versions.

Unlike any other, this "front wheel support" is particularly useful for working out the efficiency of your pedal stroke in the mountains, since by tilting the bike, the leg muscle chain is called upon in a realistic way, as if the cyclist were really on the slope.

Paired with a Kickr/Kickr Snap home trainer, this Kickr Climb support follows the level of resistance, tilting the bike more or less. Thanks to the handlebar-mounted control, the Kickr Climb can operate in locked mode (the cyclist manually controls the inclination) or unlocked mode, for automatic reaction to the track profiles recorded on your WAHOO Elemnt or Elemnt Bolt GPS computer, or on your Zwift or TrainerRoad app.

Excellent!

"Excellent device! Quality and easy to install, does the job really well."

Jerebol (5/5)

Equipment that changes everything

"The climbr changes (almost) everything: you finally have the sensation of going up when you go up and going down when you go down; curiously, descending mountain passes at full throttle becomes impressive; you're almost afraid of going over the handlebars! Of course, you still can't brake, but that's not the Climbr's fault! Percentage changes are made with very slight jerks and a micro time delay; we tell ourselves that this point could be improved by anticipating."

Adds a real plus to HT, but the price remains....

"First major obstacle: the price. It's up to you to judge / your means... but it adds a real plus to HT, since it pushes back the moment of HT fatigue and encourages you to naturally vary your positions (sitting, dancing, hand up, hand down...). A more playful HT experience to boot!"

Pasqup01 (5/5)

Slope simulator

"Perfect for even more realistic sessions. Personally I'm on the Rouvy app. Works great"

Hard to do without once tested

"An indisputable plus in comfort, realism and performance. Allows you to get into the dancer position naturally, hold it for a long time and work the position effectively, varies the nature of the exercise by breaking the monotony. Above all, it constantly adapts your position on the bike to the slope, a decisive factor in optimizing effort and pedaling quality. You'll arrive perfectly prepared for long-distance mountain biking. Enthusiastic after buying the product, which takes up virtually no floor space, makes no noise, and gives a great impression of safety."

Goopil (5/5)

Good set with the Core

"Bought with the Kickr Core it makes a top-of-the-range set at a reasonable price, at least cheaper than the Kickr Bike! I'm very happy with it, it's a good product that does what it says. It adds a touch of realism (tested on the Alpe du Zwift and on the S of Watopia). And then I have a frame dedicated to HT, so no wheel to use and less clutter than with a wheel."
