Description
The RITCHEY WCS SWITCH IS52/28.6 Integrated Headset Upper Cup without Cable Guide is the upper component of the Ritchey Switch System. Designed to work with the Switch stem, it routes cables, housings and hydraulic hoses from the handlebars into the frame.
The cables run through the channel beneath the stem, then through an opening at the front of the Switch spacers and finally through two channels on top of the cup, allowing the bearings to operate without interference. It comes with two 5 mm Switch spacers and a 51.8/40 mm 45°/45° sealed cartridge bearing.
For frames with a straight 1"1/2 head tube and a fork with a 1"1/8–1"1/2 tapered steerer, it has a stack height of 21.7 mm and weighs 54 g. The compression plug is not included.
