Description

The SHIMANO DEORE XT PD-M8220 are SPD pedals designed for committed enduro and trail riding. Their extended platform, inspired by the XTR PD-M9220, offers excellent stability between shoe and pedal to maintain optimal control when trails become more technical, steep or unpredictable. The double-sided SPD mechanism ensures fast, smooth and intuitive engagement.

The large platform surface, combined with adjustable pins and anti-slip studs, significantly improves grip, even when the foot is not clipped in. Compatible with the new CL-MT001 cleats, these pedals allow multi-directional engagement for greater speed and confidence in the most demanding sections.

Built to last, the PD-M8220 features a robust outer cage that protects the mechanism from rock impacts. The sealed bearings and reinforced seals ensure reliable performance in mud, dust and rain. Compatible with existing SPD cleats, they are an ideal choice for riders seeking performance, durability and control on all terrain.
