The Pro line’s unique feature is its streamlined palm. Unlike traditional, very thick cycling gloves, this model limits padding to only what’s strictly necessary to ensure a firm yet precise grip on the handlebars. The back of the hand is made from a technical stretch fabric with a “second-skin” feel that instantly wicks away sweat and fits perfectly without creating any areas of tension.

What is the main difference between the Pro model and the Padded model? The Padded model focuses on pure comfort with thick foam inserts to absorb shocks over long distances. In contrast, the Pro model is a racing glove: its padding is extremely minimal and flat to prioritize lightness, a precise grip, and raw performance.

Are they easy to put on and take off without a Velcro strap? Yes. To improve aerodynamics and comfort, Sportful has removed the Velcro strap at the wrist. The glove features a very flexible elastic cuff that stretches to let your hand slide in and then fits snugly. To take them off, simply turn them inside out gently using your fingers or use the small loops designed to help with removal.

How do the Pro Gloves fit? This model features a very snug fit (Race Fit) designed to form a seamless bond with the hand. The upper fabric is highly stretchy, but the palm remains firm to ensure support. If you prefer not to feel too constricted or if your fingers are slightly wider than average, we recommend selecting one size larger than your usual size.
