Description

The SRAM SlickWire XL Standard Brake Cable Kit improves braking feel on mechanical road brake systems with low-friction, polished stainless steel cables. Its standard cable lengths suit conventional road bike setups, restoring bite to ageing mechanical brakes.

Each 1.5 mm stainless steel cable runs through compressionless, Kevlar-reinforced housing for a more direct lever feel and better protection against contaminants. The kit includes front (850 mm) and rear (1750 mm) cables, housing, ferrules and frame protectors for a complete, tidy installation.

Compatible with SRAM and Shimano mechanical road brake systems, this premium kit is ideal for restoring bite and precision to the mechanical brakes on a conventional road bike.
