Very good

"Very easy to replace; I've been testing it for a month and everything works. Fast delivery at the best price."

Tom91250 (5/5)

SRAM 4-speed shifter

"With the cable already installed, it saves time. Fast delivery to the vacation address"

Jpcl (5/5)

Too fragile

"After less than 18 months of moderate use, the gears no longer shift. The internal mechanism is made of metal, but it’s clearly of poor quality. Avoid this product."

Lo4c (1/5)

Easy and on time

"Very easy to order, and the item I received matched the description."

Entry-level SRAM—best avoided

"Unbelievable—shift levers that slip! I've never had that problem with Shimano. Sacrificing durability for so-called comfort is a design flaw that borders on incompetence."

Ych (1/5)

Fragile

"Just like its counterpart on the left side, this shifter is very fragile. After riding 300 km, one broke on the left and two on the right. The installation was done properly, though (the first two breakages involved the original shifters). Furthermore, I take good care of my equipment... In use, however, these shifters are pleasant, fairly responsive, and precise. Probikeshop is in no way responsible for the product’s design. But it’s best to avoid it if possible."

Yo9143 (2/5)

Fragile

"The mechanism broke after just a few test runs. Installed with a new SRAM X4 derailleur, it was already stiff during the initial adjustments, and during the very first test rides, the shifter for shifting up gears broke... a manufacturing defect??"

Christophe1670 (1/5)

A working shifter

"To replace my broken SRAM X3 right-side shifter, I got this SRAM X4 model, which came with an X4 derailleur included. Installation was quick and easy, and—surprise!—a high-quality derailleur cable was already pre-installed. Adjustment was fairly simple after watching the tutorials: chain installation and derailleur adjustment. Since each click signifies a gear shift, there are no issues with its use."

good for me

"Good product, especially for my casual use. I'm not a mountain biking pro, but for recreational use—so nothing too demanding—it works great. Fast delivery, well-packaged. Thanks, ProBikeShop!!!!!"

Titou (3/5)

Lack of wear resistance

"I chose this SRAM shifter—the shift levers work perfectly, with easy and precise adjustment, and quick, smooth shifting. But there’s one major downside: its durability. After a year, the shift levers are worn out, and the gears won’t shift up anymore..."
