Good for road bikes but not for all mountain bikes

"Top for road bikes but not long enough to be used on mountain bikes if wheel held by through axle. A simple solution would have been to use a longer screw to fit all bikes, but VAR didn't make that choice, which is a shame."

Vico C. (2/5)

chain support

"I didn't know it, I recommend it because it's very practical".

Jurassien69 (5/5)

Not suitable for all mountain bikes

"Mounting screw too short for a Moustache VTTAE. Changed the screw for a longer one, but for the price this one should have been supplied with a set of spacers possibly for the different mounting thicknesses. I saw afterwards that this hub is not suitable for 12mm hollow axles, only for open dropouts, but this is not specified in the description! With the new screw it works perfectly, hence the 3 *."

Charlie91 (3/5)

mismatched chain rest

"impossible to fix because the screw is too short compared to the thickness of the wheel hub on my Gravel . I had to buy a longer screw in a DIY store to be able to use it."

Rando75 (1/5)

Very practical

"Very practical to keep the chain taut during maintenance on the bike".

Quent62 (5/5)

Nickel

"Exactly what I needed, fast delivery".

Yann (4/5)

not for all bikes!

"I have an enduro mountain bike and the knob doesn't fit in front of the derailleur knob, but you just have to change the axle and put a spacer and it works! But hey, when you buy a product and it doesn't fit."

Freerider (1/5)

Screw size is too short!

"I needed a chain tensioner for cleaning my mountain bike but also for transport. But unfortunately, the screw is too short for me to mount it on my mountain bike. It's a 2015 Lapierre XR529. . . Also, I didn't keep the packaging or the labels, thinking that this tensioner would fit all bikes, and I didn't use it until several weeks later. ... A purchase for nothing. ... It would be wise to be a little more precise in the descriptions to avoid this kind of mistake!"

Bubu (1/5)

Perfect

"Great little accessory that avoids leaving the chain slack and dragging."
