Description
The Shot Rogue full-face helmet is designed for BMX Race and Downhill. It is CE EN 1078:2012 + A1:2012 approved, the European standard for bicycle helmets, and complies with UCI regulations which require, both in training and in BMX Race competition, a monocoque full-face helmet without lateral openings. Please note before buying: the Rogue is not approved for motorcycle use — it is a cycle helmet, designed and certified as such.
The SRS shell (Synthetic Reinforced Shell), made of injected polycarbonate, aims for a controlled strength-to-weight balance, and the chin guard features a "Shock-Absorber" insert dedicated to frontal impacts — exactly the type of impact experienced on a poorly negotiated jump or a forward crash on the starting hill. Fastening is handled by a Double D-ring buckle, the gold standard in competition: no adjustment slippage, the strap locks onto itself.
The Morpho-Conforming interior fits the shape of the head; it is fully removable and washable, made of ventilated hypoallergenic fabric. Ventilation includes 7 front vents and 4 rear extractors, complemented by an adjustable ventilated peak. Finish protected by a high-resistance polyurethane varnish. Weight: 1150 g ± 50 g. The solid matt black is the most understated finish in the range, and the one that shows scratches the least.
