The CONTINENTAL Race King 26x2.00 ShieldWall tire Tubeless Ready Soft is designed for Cross Country riding on hard/dry to mixed terrain.
The Race King tire can be mounted Tubeless Ready tubeless mounting. It uses silica-based PureGrip rubber, offering excellent grip and endurance.
This tire is built with a 2-ply carcass on the sidewalls (120 tpi) and a 3-ply under the tread (180 tpi). The sidewalls are reinforced against cuts by the honeycomb lining of the ShieldWall system. The flexible bead wires are made of aramid.

"After riding the X King, I wanted to test the Race King on my second bike. The tire rolls much better and the loss of grip is not too penalizing (except in mud). I have the impression that the tire is also more resistant to punctures (on the X King I had quite a few punctures in the tread due to thorns fortunately sealed by the MucOff product)."
