Description
Designed for intense enduro riding or DH/freeride, the DT Swiss EX 1700 CLASSIC wheelset combines durability, precision, and performance to tackle the most demanding terrain. Their asymmetrical welded aluminum rims offer an excellent balance of stiffness, reliability, and durability, while optimizing the bike’s dynamic performance. Tubeless Ready-compatible, they enhance grip, comfort, and puncture resistance on the most technical sections.
This wheel set features DT Swiss 350 hubs equipped with the Ratchet DEG 72 system, ensuring rapid power transfer thanks to its 72 engagement points. This technology facilitates quick bursts of speed and delivers more direct acceleration on technical and rough sections. DT Swiss DF technology reduces kickback by releasing chain tension directly into the freewheel. This lightweight, adjustable system improves the bike’s downhill handling, offering a smoother and more natural ride.
The build features DT Competition® Race spokes combined with a triple-cross lacing pattern on both the front and rear wheels, ensuring excellent stress resistance while keeping weight in check. This design is engineered for intensive use in bike parks, enduro, or aggressive all-mountain riding.
Compatible with multiple axle and freehub standards, the EX 1700 CLASSIC wheel set is also E-Bike Ready certified for up to 250 W. Its 30 mm internal profile optimizes the fit of wide tires to provide greater stability, precision, and control on the most challenging descents.
