The DT Swiss Ratchet DEG DF Race Kit lets you fine-tune pedal kickback on wheels fitted with a Ratchet DEG hub. Its DF (Degrees of Freedom) technology addresses pedal kickback where it originates: in the freehub.
This Race kit extends the usual adjustment range, offering 0°, 10°, 30° or 40° of free rotation before engagement to fine-tune suspension response to the terrain and riding discipline (enduro, downhill, bike park).
The 0/40 option is designed for ambitious gravity/downhill racers tackling the most demanding downhill tracks, where smoother handling is essential. By contrast, the 10/30 kit is designed for enduro riders who want to fine-tune their degree of free rotation between stages.
