E.THIRTEEN SIDEKICK Pro 12x157mm Super Boost 6 Hole Rear Hub

The E.THIRTEEN SIDEKICK PRO rear hub is designed for trail, all-mountain, enduro, and E-MTB riding, offering smoother and quieter performance on challenging terrain. Thanks to Sidekick 2.0 Anti-Kickback technology, the hub decouples the drivetrain from the suspension during freewheeling to limit pedal kickback and improve the bike’s responsiveness on technical sections.

The system features a magnetic mechanism with retractable pawls, offering virtually silent operation and significantly reduced friction during freewheeling. The tool-free adjustable deadband setting allows you to choose between 9°, 13°, or 18° depending on the terrain and the desired level of responsiveness. A lower setting promotes quick acceleration and dynamic pedaling, while a wider angle optimizes comfort and suspension travel on descents.

The E.THIRTEEN SIDEKICK PRO Rear Hub features high-end internal components, including EZO bearings in the driver and TPX bearings in the hub body. The nickel-plated steel pawls and pushers enhance durability and reduce friction over the long term. Its 17 mm aluminum axle ensures stiffness and reliability for heavy-duty use.

Compatible with XD and Microspline freehub bodies, this rear hub is available in 148 mm Boost and 157 mm Superboost versions. Its fully serviceable design, combined with e-bike compatibility and a long-term warranty, makes it a high-performance solution for modern mountain bike builds.
