The FOX RACING SHOX 36 FLOAT SL 29-inch FACTORY Grip X fork is the lightest ever designed in its category, weighing under 1,800 g. It redefines the standards of modern trail riding with an ideal combination of supple performance, steering precision and low weight. With 120 to 140 mm of travel, it is built for riders seeking uncompromising performance. Its Kabolt SL thru-axle saves 12 grams compared with the standard Kabolt axle.

It brings together the brand’s latest technology, combining the Float Evol Glidecore air spring — whose large-cross-section O-rings deliver an ultra-smooth action, allowing it to respond to the fork’s dynamic movements, reduce friction and improve responsiveness on all terrain — with the GRIP X damper (replacing the Fit4). The damper delivers outstanding performance both uphill and downhill, with lower weight (120 g less than the Grip X2), simpler setup and an easily accessible Firm Mode to improve pedalling efficiency.

The 36 SL also features Bleeders technology, with bleed valves to optimise the fork’s progression, and Channels to improve hydraulic flow and air volume.

Finally, the generative arch design optimises torsional stiffness, delivering a 20% improvement over the FOX 34. Strategic cut-outs achieve this without adding weight to the fork.
