"Top tire, apart from the rather steep set-up!"
"Hello, Mounted front and rear on my SUNN PRIM s1 Carbon the mountain bike is magnificent, easy mounting, performance, grip all good, I understand better its price"
"easy tubless mounting, nice tires, great grip in the dry, not yet tested in the mud, great ride, will have to see over time how solid it is, but for now it's really not bad".
"Met my expectations. A little stiff to put on the rim."
"A tire that offers an amazing compromise between lightness and strength (hardskin). Very easy to mount, the tire provides very good support in the rim (SRAM Roam on my bike). After a lot of training and a few races, the tire convinced me: excellent performance on dry and steep roads, solidity, comfort, central and lateral grip, nice finish (especially in beige). Rather versatile, I combined it with a Toro at the rear, an effective combination for riding in variable seasons. My only negative point is that the tire struggles a little to break in when the mud is sticky, and can therefore quickly lose grip if you don't quickly reach a cleaner section. So far, no premature wear, but I'll need another 3-4 months of intensive use to judge its lifespan."
"Tires with super Grip, and durable for cross-country use. A little heavier than its brethren but super quality and comfortable and Made in FRANCE."
"Mounted on rear tire, does the job on dry ground as well as in the mud! I recommend."
"Compared with the cobra I've been using for 10 years, the kraken provides better grip on dry ground in the presence of gravel or small plant debris. Its balloon also brings a plus in comfort, but less than a WTB ranger that I also know. It's a very smooth tire, though a little slower than the cobra, and the same goes for wear, with less rubber on the ground... . Mounted tubeless with preventive, no punctures, no problems."
"Mounted tubeless front and rear, with pressures varying between 1.5 and 1.8, on a semi-rigid with a 100 mm fork, this tire provides real extra comfort. Grip on dry or very dry ground is excellent. Sand, gravel, roots and large stones are no problem. Stability is excellent, and I've always been a fan of thinner sections, but I was blown away by the performance on rolling sections. Not to mention the unique touch provided by the beige sidewalls!"
"Used in XC, front and rear. The 2.3 format provides good stability on descents. They can withstand very low pressure, they adapt well to the terrain with a grip, especially downhill, very effective. The carcass is resistant, and I've taken good shocks from rocks several times. Not a problem, supple and resistant at the same time!"
