The tire HUTCHINSON Taipan 29x2,35 Hardskin RaceRipost XC Tubeless Ready soft bead is a model that prioritizes performance, lightness and grip. At ease on mixed, rocky or wet terrain, it ensures good lateral mud evacuation thanks to its V-shaped lug blocks, while providing excellent lateral grip.
This versatile Taipan tire by HUTCHINSON also benefits from the Hardskin textile grid reinforcement in high-strength nylon placed under the tread and on the sidewalls to avoid cuts on angular stones and thus further increase puncture resistance.
Combined with the new RaceRipost XC triple tread compound, this model offers excellent performance in terms of both efficiency and longevity.
It can be used with or without an inner tube, and is ideal as a rear tire for fast, performance-oriented Enduro riding.

"Rear tire paired with a Toro on the front. Used for downhill enduro and uphill trail riding, on a 30 km ride with 1,200 meters of elevation gain. The rear tire rolls well given its tread pattern and offers good traction on climbs, whether on mud, a carpet of leaves, or roots. On descents, no loss of traction to report, whether in turns or on slippery technical sections. Fitted tubeless on a 25mm-wide rim; no flats in two months in the Vosges."
