KÄRCHER HD 5/11 Ex Plus Classic Cold Water High-Pressure Cleaner

The KÄRCHER HD 5/11 Ex Plus Classic is a compact and robust professional high-pressure cleaner, designed for cleaning operations on vehicles, machines, tools and outdoor areas. Its mobile design makes it easy to use in a variety of environments.

Equipped with an 840 mm stainless steel lance, it combines manoeuvrability and efficiency. The supplied rotary nozzle removes the most stubborn dirt, while the working pressure of 110 bar and the maximum pressure of 160 bar ensure deep cleaning.

The design prioritises durability with a premium brass pump head and a three-piston axial pump fitted with stainless steel pistons. The pistons also benefit from a ceramic coating. The automatic pressure relief helps protect the components and extend their service life.

The 8-metre high-pressure hose, in robust rubber with a metal insert, offers a design suited to professional use. The integrated hose reel makes storage easier, while the cable hooks and nozzle storage holder keep accessories neatly organised.

The EASY!Lock connectors simplify the fitting, removal and changing of accessories. What is the difference between the working pressure (110 bar) and the maximum pressure (160 bar)? The working pressure (110 bar) is the actual, continuous pressure delivered by the unit while you are cleaning. It is the reference figure for working efficiency. The maximum pressure (160 bar) is the peak pressure sustained by the pump head when the trigger gun is released before the motor comes to a complete stop.

How do you protect the pump in winter or during long periods of inactivity? Frost is the worst enemy of the brass pump head. In winter, always store the cleaner in a heated or frost-free location. Before storage, drain all water from the unit by running it dry for 3 to 5 seconds without a water supply, or flush it with a specific anti-seize / antifreeze protection product for high-pressure pumps.
