SHIMANO GRX Di2 ST-RX815 Left Lever 2x11-Speed

The SHIMANO GRX Di2 ST-RX815 left lever belongs to the 11-speed Di2 range designed for gravel, cyclocross and mixed-terrain riding. It is based on the DUAL CONTROL LEVER concept, which combines electronic shifting and hydraulic braking in a single control. On this left-hand model, the lever controls the chainring shifting function (2x), while the brake section operates the bike's hydraulic system, all controlled by Shimano Di2 technology and compatible with Synchro-Shift mode, which automatically synchronises the front and rear derailleurs.

The lever ergonomics have been specifically developed for gravel riding: the raised hood head limits hand misalignment and slipping, while a notch dedicated to finger positioning prevents any upward slipping on rough sections. The brake lever benefits from an anti-slip coating and a ribbed texture that improve grip even in wet or muddy conditions, as well as a raised pivot axis and curved shape that increase braking efficiency while reducing fatigue over long distances.

On the braking side, the lever incorporates SERVO WAVE technology, which quickly brings the pads closer to the disc before providing precise modulation through the rest of the lever stroke, for mineral-oil hydraulic operation compatible with Flat Mount callipers. The body is made from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic (GFRP), and a reach adjustment system allows the distance between the lever and handlebar to be adapted to any hand size. Two E-Tube ports allow connection to the rest of the Di2 groupset via the E-TUBE PROJECT app, for complete customisation of button functions.
