MAVIC COMETE 45 Tubeless Ready Front Wheel (Center Lock)

The MAVIC COMETE 45 Front Wheel is designed to combine aerodynamics, lightness and steering precision on demanding routes. Its 45 mm profile provides the front height for the 45/55 configuration, engineered to deliver nimble steering and confidence-inspiring control while maintaining outstanding aerodynamic efficiency.

Its Aero Wide Rim with a 25 mm internal width and a 34 mm external width is engineered around modern 30 mm tyres. This design promotes an optimised tyre-to-rim transition, with improved airflow and enhanced aerodynamic efficiency, particularly in crosswinds.

The carbon construction features Adaptive Layup technology, using different T700, T1000 and 3K fibres. This lay-up delivers a balance of stiffness, weight, vibration absorption and responsiveness, for a precise and dynamic front wheel.

The wheel uses 21 Aero Spokes carbon spokes, laced in a 2-cross pattern for 14 spokes and radial for 7 spokes. Their aerodynamic design helps reduce drag while enhancing lateral stiffness and steering precision.

With a claimed weight of 600 g, this front wheel focuses on handling and responsiveness. It is the ideal choice for the 45/55 setup, specifically intended for mountainous routes, long climbs and technical descents.
