Its 50 mm aerodynamic profile and internal width of 23 mm offer excellent stability, while promoting comfort with modern road tyres.

Developed through wind tunnel testing in Geneva, the unidirectional carbon rim combined with profiled carbon spokes reduces drag and optimises every acceleration. Its 100% carbon rim benefits from the Adaptive Layup construction, a specific layup combining T700, T1000 and 3K fibres. Each fibre type is positioned according to mechanical stresses in order to simultaneously optimise the stiffness, weight and dynamic behaviour of the wheel. This design allows for sharp accelerations, excellent handling precision and efficient power transfer without compromising comfort on long rides.

At the heart of the wheel, the Mavic Ceramic bearings limit friction to improve efficiency and pedalling smoothness.

Weighing just 1315 g the pair, the COMETE 50 retains a lightweight character without sacrificing stiffness or handling precision.
