The MAVIC COMETE 65 Front Wheel represents the most aerodynamic front setup available in the COMETE 45/55 and 55/65 pairs. With its 55 mm front profile for the 55/65 version and its 65 mm rear wheel, the set is engineered for fast, rolling routes where riding speed and aerodynamic efficiency come first.
The Aero Wide Rim features a 25 mm internal and 34 mm external width. Developed around a 30 mm tyre, it improves the tyre/rim transition and promotes optimised airflow. This design helps reduce drag while maintaining stable handling.
The Adaptive Layup construction uses T700, T1000 and 3K fibres. It blends stiffness, low weight, responsiveness and vibration absorption to maintain precise handling despite the deep rim profile.
The 21 Aero Spokes carbon spokes use a pattern of 14 crossed two-cross and 7 radial spokes. Their aerodynamic design helps reduce rotational drag and enhances lateral stiffness as well as power transfer.
The front wheel of the 55/65 setup weighs in at 620 g. Paired with the 65 mm rear wheel, it creates a package designed for cyclists looking for high aerodynamic efficiency on fast and undulating roads.
