Stylish and high-performing, Mavic MVS Shield glasses feature a wide cylindrical lens and a half-frame design with no lower rim, maximising your field of vision and peripheral vision on the road or mountain bike.

The category 3 lens protects your eyes in bright conditions (visible light transmission: 13%), ideal for summer rides and mountain passes in full sun. Like all MVS lenses, it provides 100% UV protection and an oleophobic coating that reduces the build-up of dust and sweat.

Adjustable nose pads let you position the glasses on your face, while non-slip temple tips keep them secure both on your nose and when tucked into your helmet. The frame is made from lightweight, durable Grilamid TR90.

What’s the difference between the Mavic MVS Shield and MVS Speedblast?
The Shield prioritises a wide-open field of vision thanks to its half-frame design without a lower rim. The Speedblast has a more classic full frame that protects the lens and is particularly well suited to narrower faces.

When should I choose a category 3 lens?
Category 3 is designed for full sun. If you often ride early in the morning, through woodland or in changeable weather, a photochromic lens will be more versatile.

How should I care for my glasses?
