Inspired by the Ikon, the MAXXIS Rekon tire 27.5x2.60 Exo Dual Tubeless Ready with flexible rod is, like the Dual, designed for competition Cross-Countrybut is designed for highly technical terrain requiring greater grip and control. Its higher studs are also larger and less numerous than those of the Ikon. 

In this version Tubeless Ready version, which can be fitted with or without an inner tube, this tire also features Exo sidewall reinforcement for extra protection against abrasion and tearing.

"1st fitment. High-performance tire, but excessively fragile. The sidewalls are too fragile, numerous perforations (tubeless mounting) requiring the installation of wicks. I had to give up on this tire because of a sidewall tear when it was not yet worn."
