SRAM RED 1 DUB DM Mono 12-Speed Crankset

At the very heart of the drivetrain, the SRAM Red 1 DUB DM Mono 46 12-speed chainset is designed for demanding cyclists seeking the highest-performance equipment. 

Like the double-chainring version, it has hollow carbon cranks for lower weight and an oversized aluminium spindle for greater stiffness. It uses a four-arm spider, with cut-outs in two of the arms to reduce the chainset’s weight even further. 

Paired with an X-Range cassette starting with a 10-tooth sprocket, the chainset provides a wide gear range while retaining the aerodynamics and simplicity of a single-ring drivetrain. The most-used sprockets still have close, progressive steps of just one tooth. 

This versatility makes it suitable for road, cyclo-cross, gravel and touring bikes alike. If you later want to fit a double-chainring drivetrain, the single-ring chainset can be converted using the same cranks.

The SRAM Red 1 is used with a SRAM DUB bottom bracket. Thanks to its universal design, this standard fits virtually any frame, so you won’t have to replace your chainset when you change bikes. 

On this DM version, the chainring is attached directly to the frame via Direct Mount, offering greater reliability and precision while preserving the frame’s appearance.
