PROTAPER D-Vice Direct Mount stem 31.8 mm 45–50 mm

Since its founding, ProTaper has been committed to keeping its products at the forefront of performance, giving the athletes who use them a champion-worthy riding experience.

The new D_VICE stem is another example of this philosophy applied to our downhill stems. In our constant drive to improve our best products, the downhill stem underwent extensive development using stress-analysis software to identify where excess material could be removed without affecting stiffness.

The final version is the result of work by our research and development department and validation by World Cup athletes. Its fully connected lower plate and lattice upper plate create a stiffer, stronger interface with the legendary Manitou Dorado. With 10 mm vertical spacers included, any athlete looking for the best cockpit set-up can easily find the perfect fit.
