I recommend this product.

"Good product, easy to assemble, very quiet, good value for the money."

Meh!

"15-day lifespan . . . . . disappointing! Not really suitable for regular downhill riding +"

Freerider74 (2/5)

disposable chain guide

"I bought this chain guide four months ago. At first, it worked well—it was quiet, and the chain didn’t skip. But after a few months, the anti-derailment plastic piece broke (which was to be expected), and now it doesn’t work very well anymore. I don’t think this anti-derailment piece is designed to withstand long-term DH use. I’m going to switch to a competitor’s product that’s only slightly more expensive but much more durable and doesn’t have a plastic piece."

effective and inexpensive

"One of the best chain guides—quiet, easy to install, and, best of all, half the price of others. Be sure to check the mounting holes and verify compatibility with your chainring (34 to 38 teeth)."

The Best Chain Guides

"I've tried the E-thirteen and the MRP, but the Shimano is way better. No roller noise, no chain clattering against the derailleur guard. In short, my DH bike has become very quiet. Plus, it's super light. For me, it's the best chain guide."

Rocketman (5/5)

Perfect!

"I was replacing my Ethirteen, and I had my doubts about how well this one would perform. The result: Surprisingly quiet—much quieter than my Ethirteen—and it does the job efficiently."

Seb4playit (5/5)

The best I have

"The best one I've tested (E-thirteen, MRP, etc.). Since I installed it, I haven't had any derailment issues. I really put it through its paces on DH runs, and it didn't flinch. When I ordered it, I was a little worried that pedaling and acceleration might be less smooth since the chain guide doesn’t use a roller, but it’s simply the smoothest system I’ve tested. I highly recommend it."

Excellent chain guide

"Great chain guide. Works like a charm. Looks awesome—the only thing missing, in my opinion, is a little touch of gold somewhere to echo the Saint components."
