Description

The SHIMANO Deore M6200 2-Piston Rear Brake is engineered to deliver reliable braking and a sleek look at an accessible price. Its 2-piston caliper focuses on lightweight performance and precise modulation, ideal for Cross-Country, Trail riding and MTB touring.

The BL-M6200 lever benefits from SERVO WAVE technology for quick pad contact followed by progressive power delivery. Paired with the new low-viscosity mineral oil, it ensures a consistent braking feel regardless of temperature changes on descents.

The aluminium lever body and two-piece caliper construction enhance overall durability, while the I-SPEC EV mount provides a tidy, integrated cockpit setup with the gear shifter. The heat-resistant resin piston ensures consistent retraction, even after long descents.

Supplied with non-finned resin pads and a 1700 mm hose suitable for rear mounting, this brake uses a Post Mount standard and remains compatible with metal pads for all MTB disciplines.
