Description
The SHIMANO DURA-ACE Di2 ST-R9270 left lever, paired here with the BR-R9270 front caliper, is part of the 12-speed DURA-ACE Di2 R9200 road groupset. This DUAL CONTROL LEVER combines wireless shifting and hydraulic braking thanks to SERVO WAVE ACTION technology, which optimises braking modulation and control over an extended lever stroke range. The wireless connection keeps the cockpit clean while retaining some of Shimano's fastest and most precise gear changes.
The hood features a raised tip and elongated body that improve hand support on long rides, while remaining compatible with additional satellite shifters for customised control. The brake lever, made from carbon fibre, is paired with titanium hardware for a lightweight assembly without compromising stiffness. A reach adjustment adjusts the distance between the lever and handlebar to suit hand size.
The BR-R9270 front caliper uses MONO-BODY construction, machined from a single block of forged steel for an excellent balance of stiffness and lightness, with 10% increased pad clearance to limit disc rubbing. The CR1632 battery powering the electronics provides 1.5 to 2 years of battery life, with button customisation via the E-TUBE PROJECT app.
