SHIMANO GRX ST-RX810-LA Left Dropper Seatpost Control Lever

The SHIMANO GRX ST-RX810-LA lever belongs to the GRX RX810 range and combines, in a single compact unit, the hydraulic brake lever and control for a mechanical dropper seatpost. It is intended for single-chainring drivetrains, for which only one brake/shift lever is required on the right side of the handlebar, leaving room for this dedicated control on the left side.

The ergonomics of the lever and hood adopt the features of the RX810 series: a raised hood head limits hand misalignment, an anti-slip coating covers the brake lever, and the brake pivot axis is raised by 18 mm for improved braking efficiency on rough terrain. The brake lever reach can be adjusted using a tool to suit individual preferences.

Braking relies on SERVO WAVE technology, which quickly takes up the initial lever travel before providing precise modulation of the remaining braking force. The dropper seatpost is cable-operated, without adding an extra lever to the handlebar, with a reach adjustment system allowing the distance between the lever and handlebar grip to be adapted to hand size and riding style.
