The Shot Optimal 2.0 Adult knee guards represent the entry-level of Shot knee protection. They rely on a different construction from other ranges: a pre-shaped injected plastic shell, more rigid than soft foam, combined with a Lycra sleeve system.
Retention is provided by two Velcro straps, compared to just one on the Race D3O — offering a more precise fit designed to compensate for the lack of smart materials with better stability of the shell over the knee. They offer basic yet reliable protection for beginner riders or those on a budget without sacrificing safety certification.
Certified to CE EN1621-1. Sold in one size — the manufacturer does not provide a numerical size guide for this range, as the injected shell and Lycra sleeve are designed to fit a wide range of adult builds. Sold as a pair, in black and neon yellow.
