Description

The WOLF TOOTH MKØ DELpedal is the ultra-high-performance version of the DEL pedal. Designed specifically for elite riders (UCI Gravel Series, Lifetime Grand Prix), it pushes Wolf Tooth’s engineering to its absolute limit. By using exotic materials such as titanium with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, it weighs just 174 g per pair—nearly 40 g less than the standard version.

It’s a single-sided pedal that offers the efficiency and aerodynamics of a road pedal, but with the durability and 2-screw cleat system (SPD) required for gravel and cyclocross. It retains the range’s signature wide contact surface for maximum power transfer without pressure points.

Does the 174 g include both pedals? Yes, that’s the weight for the pair, which is exceptional. For comparison, Shimano XTR pedals weigh about 310 g.

Can I use my Shimano cleats with these pedals? Yes, they are 100% SPD-compatible. However, the included Wolf Tooth stainless steel cleats are recommended for a firmer and more durable connection.

Why adjust the Q-factor? It allows you to adjust the distance between your feet. A narrower Q-factor (51 mm) is often preferred by riders coming from road cycling, while a wider spacing (59 mm) offers more stability and clearance for wider shoes or larger frames.

Is it difficult to clip into a single-sided pedal? Like a road pedal, it’s weighted to naturally align in the correct position. This is a deliberate design choice to save weight and improve aerodynamics. For more recreational or technical riding with frequent stops, the ALT or CTRL (double-sided) models are better suited.

Points forts

Record lightness: At 174 g, it's the lightest SPD pedal with a complete platform.

Titanium DLC axle: A titanium axle machined with an ultra-hard carbon coating to reduce friction and increase longevity.

Massive Contact Area: A 559 mm² platform (compared with only 144 mm² for a Shimano XTR), offering stability akin to a road pedal.

Customizable Q-Factor: Adjustable to 51, 55 or 59 mm by simply rearranging the internal components (supplied in 55 mm).

Mono-face design: Optimized for weight and aerodynamics, with an open center for perfect mud evacuation.
