Description
The WTB COURSE 52 aims to strike a balance between outright speed and off-road versatility. Its closely spaced centre knobs reduce rolling resistance and wear, while its rounded profile, inherited from high-volume road tyres, makes cornering progressive and predictable on all surfaces.
Its defining feature is on the sidewalls: Stromm Aerotech technology (international patent pending) adds vortex generators and trip strips that help keep airflow attached to the wheel. WTB claims savings of 5.8 W at 30 km/h, 9.3 W at 35 km/h and 13.8 W at 40 km/h — enough to make a difference on a long ride or in an endurance event.
Supple TCS Light 120 TPI casing, Dual DNA compound (a firm, fast-rolling centre and softer shoulders for grip) and three-piece nylon SG2 protection from bead to bead. Tubeless Ready with a folding bead. 645 g in black.
