The Shot Lite full face helmet is the most advanced model from the French brand. As with the Furious, a key point to read before ordering: it meets ECE 22.06 and DOT standards — Shot even claims to exceed them — but these are motorcycle standards. This helmet is not EN 1078 certified, the bicycle standard. Check the requirements of your club or the event organiser before competing.

What sets the Lite apart is that it combines two oblique impact protection technologies, rarely found together on the same helmet. The MIPS system allows for a slight movement of the inner shell around the head, reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an angled impact — the most common scenario in real falls. The D3O® inserts complement this setup: it is a material that is flexible at rest and instantly stiffens under impact energy. The breakaway visor screws work towards the same goal.

The shell is made of fibreglass, available in 2 sizes with 2 EPS densities, weighing in at 1250 g ± 50 g. Ventilation is provided by 10 front vents and 9 rear extractors, with a removable and washable hypoallergenic Quick Dry liner. The Quick Release system allows emergency services to remove the cheek pads while the helmet is still in place, without manipulating the neck — a crucial detail. Routing clip for a hydration hose, Double D ring closure, polyurethane finish. Shot also offers a reduced-rate crash replacement programme upon product registration.
